announces the hiring of Satoshi Iwase as Director of Project Finance based in Tokyo. Iwase-san joins GSSG with over 30 years of experience in asset management, securitization, and project finance. He was recently a Senior Manager at one of GSSG’s lending partners,
Shinsei Bank, LTD, a leader in renewables lending.

GSSG Solar Japan, KK, a subsidiary of GSSG Solar, LLC, announced the promotion of two of its key members in the Tokyo office. Koji Shiga was promoted to Director of Development while Toshimichi Wago was promoted to Director of Asset Management. Shiga-san will take on all responsibilities related to permitting the firm’s portfolio of Japanese projects. Wago-san will assume responsibilities associated with the operations and reporting of the 220 MW of projects managed by the Company, including 34 MW of operational projects.

GSSG Solar, LLC (“GSSG”) announced full commercial operations for the 19 MW Kita-Ibaraki solar project in November 2020 (the “Project”). The Project is located in the Ibaraki Prefecture of Japan and will sell power to Tokyo EPCO under a 20-year feed-in-tariff (“FIT”). The Project is expected to offset the needs of approximately 3,400 local residents annually and employed roughly 200 local laborers workers during the construction period.

GSSG Solar announces seven solar facilities across four municipalities in New Hampshire that will be operational by the end of the year. The nine megawatt portfolio is made possible under the state’s Group Net Metering Program through the enactment of Senate Bill 98, which allows New Hampshire rate payers to benefit from cost savings from solar projects located in the state.
